    Exchange 2007 SP2 expected released in Q3 2009

    Exchange 2007 Service pack 2 expected release in Q3 2009, We have been hearing lot of feedback on Exchange 2007 and Windows Server 2008, we do not have built in back up solution to backup Exchange 2007 by using windows 2008 back up feature.

    Exchange team planning to release add-on to backup exchange data in windows 2008.

    The Exchange 2007 SP2 will include the following features and features enhancements:

    • Enhanced Auditing
    • Exchange Volume Snapshot Backup Functionality
    • Dynamic Active Directory Schema Update and Validation
    • Public Folder Quota Management
    • Centralized Organizational Settings
    • Named Properties cmdlets
    • New User Interface for Managing Diagnostic Logging.

    It will be available on free downloads at  http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2007/default.mspx
